We are excited to invite you to a special one-day Valentine Bhakti Gathering on Saturday, the 15th of February at Stroud Trinity rooms. Join us for a day of love and connection with chanting (kirtan), chai and community and a heart-opening ceremony (Puja).
Valentine’s day honours our longing to be loved and cherished. In the practice of Bhakti Yoga, we balance this desire and discover that love is not just something we seek but something we embody. By offering our devotion through prayer, rituals, and singing, we can connect to this divine, universal love that is present everywhere, in everything.
Together, with our voices and our prayers, we will celebrate and learn about Kama Deva (the god of desire and love, who inspired the famous Kama Sutra) and his beloved, Rati Devi (the goddess of passion and pleasure).
We are delighted to welcome Tim Chalice, he is a devoted singer and voice healer who is dedicated to the transformative power of kirtan. Also joining us will be founder of The Naked Voice, Chloë Goodchild - whose voicework blends silence, self-inquiry and sound to open the heart to inspire deep connection. Finally, through sacred mantras, Sion Jones will facilitate healing and a deepening into our divine nature.
Musicians from the UK Babaji community (Shambo & Veda, Asha Mcarthy, Tino & Tara, and Sivani Mata) will also lead Kirtan. Their offerings are a heartfelt expression of their love and devotion for Haidakhan Babaji, creating a deep and powerful energy.
Most importantly, these gatherings come to life because of your participation and open-heartedness - together, we bring the magic and the miracles!
